The Siemens Biograph Horizon PET-CT is a next-generation molecular imaging system that represents the gold standard in modern cancer diagnosis and staging.
By combining Positron Emission Tomography (PET) with Computed Tomography (CT), this powerful hybrid scanner provides both metabolic and anatomical information in a single, ultra-fast scan. Utilizing specialized radiotracers like Gallium, it allows our oncology team to detect microscopic disease at the cellular level long before it becomes visible on traditional imaging, ensuring the most accurate and personalized treatment plan possible.
You will be asked to fast for a few hours before the scan and avoid strenuous exercise.
A small amount of radioactive tracer (like Gallium) is injected into your vein.
You will rest quietly for about 45-60 minutes while the tracer absorbs into your body.
You will lie still in the PET-CT scanner for about 20-30 minutes while it captures highly detailed images.
Our board-certified oncologists and surgeons have decades of experience in highly specialized cancer care.
We combine world-class technologies with rigid safety regulations to protect healthy tissue at all times.
From diagnostic mapping to post-treatment recovery, our dedicated nurses support you every single step of the way.
